My name is Fiona Wright and I am looking for Dorothy Smith (married name) who moved to Birmingham in the early/mid 1990's from Bearsden, Glasgow. My name is Sarah Bradley, I live in Upper Gornal, Sedgley Dudley. I would like some help with finding my mother.
My maiden name was McHugh. My fathers name is Richard McHugh. I was born on the 5th of November 1971.
Ever since i can remember i have wanted to find my mother. I have been told that she left me and my father when i was 3 years old in our bungalow in kingswinford. I have asked my father for information about my mother on numerous oaccasions but he is either unwilling or does not know anything. I have no grandparents alive to ask for help on either side of my parents, and i do not know of any uncles or aunts on my mothers side.
My mothers maiden name is Cheryl Grimshaw, and thats about all i know about her. My father is 64 years old so i assume she would be roughly the same age.
I am 37 years old now and have a family of my own. My mother has 2 grand-daughters to get to know. I was mainly bought up by my grandfather who i loved dearly and would love for my children to have a connection with thier grandmother.
I do not know how to contact my mother, that is if she is even still alive. I have tried in vain to ask my family for information but they always seem to clam up when asked about her (anyone think she was buried under the patio!).
If anyone can help me i would most appreciate it because i have exhausted all resourses i can think of.
If i was adopted it would be so easy compared to my situation. If a parent leaves when you are young you have no trace of where they are and who to ask. I really miss my mother and my children miss thier grandmother.
Please can you help me???

Hi, I'm trying to trace any persons that RENTED a house on Ladysmith Road, Cradley Heath between 1938 and 1952. I know the house was owned by a certain family but they lived elsewhere. It is a family who rented pre/post war. They had a boy aged approx 5 yrs, who unfortunatly died and a daughter, approx 2-3 yrs, who is still living, to my knowledge.
