I am trying to trace my grandfather Joseph Williams who may have lived in Hereford in the 90s.I dont know much about him apart from he was at one time married to Emily Dicker and had four daughters.
I have been told he had a sister who worked at the castle pool hotel and possibly at blacks the shop.
There may be a connection with the hereford fire brigade with his farther or uncle.
My name is Pete Rutherford.Any help would be fantastic as I am building my family tree and it would be nice to know my history.

I'm crossing my fingers and hoping someone somewhere can help.
I am trying to locate my half brother that was adopted. His birth name was DAMIEN MARK POUND born 23/07/1978, He was born in NEWPORT GWENT HOSPITAL, he was 6lb 9oz and born at approx 6am in the morning. His birth was registered at Hereford Registry Office. My mother, who gave DAMIEN up for adoption was only 15 years old at the time of the adoption and her name then was TRACEY JEAN POUND (LOCKWOOD). The birth fathers name was JIMMY MORGAN , but thats all i no about him. My mothers date of birth is 14/07/1963. The hand over for the adoption took place at the ST ANNS MOTHERS AND BABIES HOME IN CHEPSTOW/MONMOUTHSHIRE. My grandma (my mothers mother) i think was involved with the adoption more so than my mother and her name was MARGERATE JEANNIE LEIGH NEE LOCKWOOD. The social worker involved was called ALISON BOLTON. At the time of DAMIEN'S birth my mother lived at 60 VILLA STREET HEREFORDSHIRE. I have no information about the adoted family apart from that the adopted father was a solicitor. Can you help i have tried all i can for years and still have nothing, Please help,

My name is Julie and I am interested in contacting any Hooper family member in Hereford (or surrounding districts)who may have a connection with a William Hooper who was born in New Radnor in 1805 to a Thomas & Jane Hooper. William was a farmer (probably at Putson)and silk merchant/draper in Hightown, Hereford from at least 1841 to 1855 - possibly earlier. At the time of his marriage to Susannah Swetman in 1835, he was living in Hereford. I am specifically looking for any siblings or other relatives of William's or any other relatives who may have been descended from Thomas & Jane Hooper. A bonus would be for me to be able to contact anyone who knows of William,s father, Thomas, who could also have lived in Hereford.
Name: Julie Hooper
